So I came across this link today at ESPN: It's the
Top 50 Free Agents in Baseball (At least as ESPN ranks them).
First off, this article totally validates how little I care about the other sports as compared to baseball. To me, this is a must
read. And it's very interesting to read where they think each of these guys will end up - let alone their overall rank in the top
50.
I find it interesting, for example, that they think the Braves will sign Keith Foulke, mostly because I think they've been
mis-using Smoltz for two years now, regardless of how dominant he's been as a closer.
In Twins news, I find it interesting that they've got Guardado ranked so highly, and that they think both he and Stewart will re-sign.
And I have to admit, I wouldn't mind seeing Hawk completely melt down as a Yankee...
Speaking of, they predict that the Yanks will sign 5 of the top 50. Isn't that a bit low?
