Another not-technically-a-blog BPotD. Whatevs. I’m guessing there’s not a going to be anything conclusive as to which side is right here. But I can tell you my own subjective observations. For roughly the last six to eight years I’d been a pretty heavy Diet Soda drinker. This summer, I gave it up, more or less cold turkey (I drank down my supply rather than pouring it out). The fact that I didn’t seem to suffer any withdrawl should be one sign. However, I do feel better overall, and don’t seem to have the same cravings for pop that I used to, so that’s also a sign.

Your mileage may vary, but I think there’s probably something to be said overall for not putting random-ass chemicals in your body, if you can avoid it.
