Welcome to the Alex Blog. This offshoot from the SP main tree will be used for more personal entries from yours truly, as well as entries of more limited interest than I’m likely to post on the main site.

It is also going to be a testing ground for running Wordpress updates and security patches, just in case anything goes awry. Yes, the motto at the Alex Blog is: better me than us. That’s just the kind of guy I am.

Oh, and since I’ve already mentioned it, the SP Nation is powered by Wordpress. It’s good stuff, if you’re gonna host your own blog rather than sell out to Blogspot, I’d recommend it. (No offense to anyone who chooses a blog based on the fact that it’s free, I assure you.)
