I would like to publicly thank my kid sis for bringing this story to my attention. Ankeny, Iowa has used garlic salt in addition to regular salt on its roads this year. Granted, it was a gift, and I do see the value in using it rather than having it go to a landfill. . . but it’s still way too funny to pass up.
Sure, it’s no World’s Biggest Chee-to, but it’ll do. (Link included as a tangible example of how we were all funnier five years ago. Plus it’s fun to go through the archives from time to time.)
