Since today is Monday July 3rd, and most people took the day off (except me), I am here at work with not a whole lot to do. So here is another quick thought based off of an article I just read.
The gist of it is that Keira Knightley wasn’t sure that the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie would be any good. And it wasn’t until she was sitting at the premier with Orlando Bloom that either one of them felt confident that the movie would work.
Really? Maybe that is why so many bad films come out. Actors take these jobs because they could use the cash and really have no idea if the film will be good after reading the script. I had always wondered why some good actors take roles in movies that are just putrid… but maybe you just can’t tell from a script whether or not the movie will actually be any good.
